भगवान श्रीराम के जीवन से जुड़ेतीर्थ स्थलों के दर्शन की यदि आप इच्छा रखते है तो आपकी यह इच्छा आईआरसीटीसी (IRCTC) के जरिए पूरी होगी। श्रीरामायण एक्सप्रेस (Shri Ramayan Express) का संचालन आईआरसीटीसी (IRCTC) की ओर से शुरू किया जा रहा है। इसमें यात्री सवार होकर श्रीराम (Shri Ram) के जीवन से जुड़े तीर्थ स्थलों का दर्शन कर सकते हैं।
होली 2020 के बाद 28 मार्च से श्रीरामायण एक्सप्रेस (Shri Ramayan Express) का शुभारंभ दिल्ली के सफदरगंज स्टेशन से होगा और अयोध्या, सीतामढ़ी, वाराणसी, प्रयागराज, चित्रकूट, नासिक, हंपी, कांचीपुरम, रामेश्वरम कीयात्रा कराने के बाद पुन: 15 अप्रैल तक श्रीरामायण एक्सप्रेस दिल्ली लौट आएगा। स्लीपर व AC कोच में 16 दिन व 17 दिन के भ्रमण को लेकर टूर पैकेज (Tour Package) भी जारी कर दिया गया है।
स्लीपर श्रेणी (Sleeper Class) का 16065 रुपये प्रति यात्री और एसी थर्ड 26775 रुपये प्रति यात्री टिकट है। इसमें यात्रियों को एसी-नॉन एसी होटल में रहना, वाहन से घूमना, खानपान, सुरक्षा और यात्री बीमा भी शामिल है।

आईआरसीटीसी (IRCTC) के मुख्य क्षेत्रीय प्रबंधक अश्विनी श्रीवास्तव ने बताया कि श्रीरामायण एक्सप्रेस (Shri Ramayan Express) के संचालन को लेकर तैयारियां पूरी हो गई है। टूर पैकेज बुकिंग को लेकर आईआरसीटीसी के वेबसाइट या फिर वाराणसी कैंट स्टेशन स्थित सेंटर पर यात्री संपर्क कर सकते हैं।
