NEW DELHI: UPSC civil service aspirants will not be able to rest once in the age limit and no additional provision will be given to civil service candidates affected by Kovid-19, the central government told the Supreme Court on Tuesday.

Additional Solicitor General SV Raju informed the bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar, who had filed a petition seeking an UPSC examination.

This is not a test to be prepared in the last minutes. People prepare for years together. The government made it clear that it cannot be changed.

The Supreme Court has heard a petition filed by the UPSC seeking additional effort on the candidates who made the last attempt at the preliminary examination in October 2020.

The application was filed seeking additional opportunity for students who were unable to attend the civil services examination due to Kovid-19.
