Demand for judicial inquiry in the whole case, demand for suspension and dismissal of guilty police personnel
Prayagraj. Five lawyers of the Allahabad High Court have filed a letter petition in the High Court demanding judicial inquiry into the lathi charge case against students by the police at Baghada, Prayagraj, and dismissal action against the guilty policemen.
This letter petition has been filed by advocates Shailjakant Tripathi, AP Pal, PK Jaiswar and two other lawyers.
He told in this regard that the manner in which the students were thrashed by the police after entering the hostel and lodge in Baghada, Prayagraj, is absolutely wrong. Advocate Shailjakant Tripathi said that through the petition, he has requested the High Court to take suo motu cognizance of the matter. Along with this, a committee has been constituted to investigate the matter and appealed for action against the guilty police personnel.
It is worth noting that on Tuesday, students of competitive examinations in Baghada, Prayagraj had protested regarding the RRB-NTPC recruitment exam results. During this, the students had come on the railway track near Prayag railway station. During this, the students were forcibly removed from the track by the police.

In the letter petition filed in the High Court, it has been said that the police have taken barbaric action against the students. Around 90 students have been arrested in the police action. Similarly, around 200 students have been injured and 30 are seriously injured. While taking action in this case, many videos of brutally beating students by entering hostels and private lodges are going viral. However, 6 police personnel have been suspended by SSP Prayagraj in this case. It consists of an inspector, two constables and three constables. At the same time, action has also been taken against some students.
